Lady Barn House School

Year Five vs Manchester Grammar – Football

Every Year Five boy travelled down the A34 to take on our neighbours in Manchester. The MGS v LBHS fixture is always eagerly anticipated, as both schools deliver a high standard of football, and the matches are equally as competitive.

I am delighted to report that the Lady Barn boys produced some exceptional results in our totally inclusive fixture. The way they embraced a new 9-a-side format was excellent, The boys played with confidence and quality. I was particularly pleased with the maturity of the group, as they played with very little intervention from the sidelines, enjoying the freedom to play and express themselves.

Well done to every pupil, who represented the school with pride.
