1J had a brilliant afternoon with their grown-ups! 🏠✨
As part of our Humanities topic on houses and homes, the children created their own houses using junk modelling. There was lots of fun, teamwork, and some wonderfully creative touches added to their finished buildings.

Each year, Lady Barn pupils in Prep 5 and 6 pay tribute to the Bard by taking part in our Shakespeare Monologue Competition 🎭
The children learn and recite one of Shakespeare’s monologues, with each performance captured on camera. This year we received many wonderful entries and were delighted to announce Prisha as the winner in assembly this morning.
Her performance of Puck’s monologue from A Midsummer Night’s Dream was truly fantastic. Congratulations to Prisha, and well done to all who took part! 👏✨

🎉 Friends of Lady Barn Fundraising Committee – First Meeting of the Year! ☕
Our first FOLB Fundraising Committee meeting of the new year takes place on Wednesday 21 January at 4:15pm, and we’d love to welcome parents to join us.
This is a great opportunity to:
✨ Share ideas for fundraising events in the months ahead
🎄 Reflect on the success of our recent Christmas Fair
💬 Help shape how future fundraising can best support the school
The meeting will be relaxed and informal, a chance to exchange ideas, meet other parents, and enjoy a cup of tea. Every voice counts, and your ideas and enthusiasm really do make a difference.
📍 Location: 4F classroom just beside our Science Lab
⏰ Duration: Around 45 minutes (and if you need to leave earlier, that’s absolutely fine, we’ll be delighted to have you for whatever time you can spare!)
