Lady Barn House School

Jan 2016

  1. The LBHS Research Award

After the success of last year’s initiative, we will be running this year’s Award for the Junior school after February half-term. The hard work of the whole school paid off last year with the prize of ‘First Runner-Up’ in the ISA 2015 Award for Overall Excellence, with LBHS only being pipped by a Performing Arts secondary school in London.

We are very excited therefore to launch this year’s Award and will be handing out Pupil Packs in a meeting at 12:20 in Mrs Flynn’s room on Monday 8th February. If your junior school child would like to find out more, please do encourage them to attend the meeting where all will be revealed! The Award is already running for the Early Years and will take place in Summer Term for the infants.

We have had some amazing pieces of work, from films to artwork, ‘Minecraft’ models to books, powerpoint displays to written projects – all demonstrating the wide range of interests and passions pursued by our children. So, put on your thinking caps and get busy! Let us see what you enjoy and share it with us by taking part in the Lady Barn House School Research Award 2016!

Mrs J Flynn – AGT Coordinator

We have now re-opened our doors to all year groups, whilst continuing to provide remote learning alongside our in-school provision. Thank you to our pupils, parents and staff for their support during this unprecedented time. We are still welcoming Admissions enquiries for September 2020 and beyond, via email to Mrs Lachevre: or telephone 0161 359 7241.
