School Events Coordinator

School Events Coordinator Job Description

The closing date for applications is Monday 8 August 2022 at 12noon.

We are seeking to appoint a School Events Coordinator to ensure a smooth and efficient internal and external service to pupils, parents and staff. The post holder should actively promote excellent customer service and to ensure consistent and improved efficiency across the administrative team. This is an amazing opportunity to work in an exciting new role for an 'Excellent' ISI inspected independent preparatory school, with a dedicated and supportive team.

The main responsibilities of the role are to provide efficient administrative support to the Leadership Team in relation to their relevant responsibilities for events, clubs and activities and day and residential trips. The post is temporary for 12 months in the first instance, to start on 1 September 2022 or as early as possible thereafter.

The hours of work are 32.5 hours per week working between the hours of 8am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday. The post is term time only plus 20 days (4 INSET days and 16 days to be worked during evening, weekends and school holiday periods).

There will be a requirement for the successful applicant to assist at school events which may take place at during the evening or at weekends.

Due to the extension of our out of hours provision, we will be providing our own holiday club at Lady Barn House School for all school holidays, with the exception of the Christmas holiday period. 

This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, creative and caring childcare providers to be a part of this new holiday club venture at Lady Barn House School.

The closing date for applications is 12 noon on Friday 10 June 2022.  Applications will be assessed upon receipt and we reserve the right to interview and appoint prior to the closing date. An early application is therefore strongly advised.

Lady Barn House School are recruiting volunteer Governors to join an enthusiastic, committed Board of Governors.

A governor’s aim is to work towards a vision that the children at the school will get the best possible education, that they will be happy and safe and enjoy their time at the school.  They will support the Head and the dedicated team of staff, but will also challenge rigorously where necessary to ensure that we deliver our objectives.
