⚽️ Two cup finals. Two wins. One incredible weekend for Yahya with Futtymania!
Yahya (6A) stepped up at the last minute to play for the U12s, starting the match and playing most of the game. He put in an outstanding performance to help the team win the Cup Final 🏆
The following day, he returned to his own U11s team for another Cup Final - making another huge impact and earning Player of the Match from the referee as they lifted the trophy once again 🥇🏆
Yahya demonstrated hard work, development, and passion for the game - all values rooted deeply in Lady Barn’s culture. As his time at LBHS comes to an end and he prepares to move on to senior school, he also paid special thanks to Mr Bowler and Mr Pietkiewicz for all their support, encouragement, and guidance throughout his journey. 💙

From captain’s armband to cup-winning penalty hero ⚽🏆
Huge congratulations to Idris (3R) and the TSCI Raptors on winning the Stockport Metro Junior Football League Cup! What a final - finishing 6-6 before a dramatic 7-6 penalty shootout victory. After a brilliant save from the keeper, Idris stepped up with one penalty left and smashed home the winning spot to crown the Raptors champions! 🔥

A great start to the week as we welcomed guest speaker Dr Mariyah Nazir, who delivered a truly inspiring assembly to our pupils about her work as an orthodontist. ✨🦷
Dr Nazir shared examples from her career and linked the industry to our pupils’ learning, including a recommendation of the book Wonder, which explores the challenges some people face and how dentistry can make a positive difference in their lives. 📚💙
It was a fascinating glimpse into a rewarding career path and an inspiring opportunity for our pupils to learn more about the world of orthodontics. 👩⚕️🌟
