The Friends of Lady Barn Fundraising Committee is hosting a relaxed breakfast drop-in at the Barney Gates on Friday 22 May from 7:45am - 9:00am.
Come along for coffee, pastries and a friendly chat to learn more about the PTA, the funds we raise and how they support our children at school. Just stop by on the school run - we’d love to see you and have a chat! 🎓💫

A great start to the week as we welcomed guest speaker Dr Mariyah Nazir, who delivered a truly inspiring assembly to our pupils about her work as an orthodontist. ✨🦷
Dr Nazir shared examples from her career and linked the industry to our pupils’ learning, including a recommendation of the book Wonder, which explores the challenges some people face and how dentistry can make a positive difference in their lives. 📚💙
It was a fascinating glimpse into a rewarding career path and an inspiring opportunity for our pupils to learn more about the world of orthodontics. 👩⚕️🌟

📚✨ This morning, we hosted the final of the Prep 2 Reading Competition! ✨📚
Our 9 finalists performed their wonderful poems with fantastic expression and confidence 👏🎤 Mrs Thomas praised the pupils for their incredible work. The second of their readings was given to them only yesterday. To deliver their passages so well was a true testament to the determination, resilience, and talent of each of the finalists 🌟
The children performed in front of a live audience of Prep 2 pupils, and were judged by Ms Higson and Mrs Thomas, who said it was incredibly difficult to choose just two winners from such an outstanding group of readers! 🏆📖
Well done to all of our amazing finalists - you should be very proud! 💙
