We welcome applications for entry year round.
Most new entrants join us in September, but we are happy to arrange ad-hoc taster/assessment days for mid-year entry as required, subject to the availability of a place.
Prior to children attending for an assessment visit, we ask parents to submit a non-refundable Application Form and a pre-visit Disclosures Form, accessed below:

If you are seeking an immediate place at Lady Barn for your child, or have a specific timeframe to adhere to (for example, if you are planning a move to the local area) please get in touch with us directly.
Our taste-test days provide an opportunity for children to immerse themselves in a school day and experience Lady Barn life for themselves, with the support of a current pupil 'buddy'. An informal assessment and meeting with the Headmistress is incorporated into the visit. Much care is taken to ensure that every visitor is warmly welcomed, encouraged and stimulated so that they are reluctant to leave us at the end of the day!
We also offer ad-hoc visits for children to join the lower year groups; these are generally morning-only visits.
