*COVID-19 update* We are still welcoming admissions enquiries and applications at this time and have adapted our admissions process to allow remote assessments to take place for pupils seeking places for September 2020; please get in touch with Mrs Lachevre via firstname.lastname@example.org for further information. After-hours visits for September 2020 applications can also be arranged via Mrs Lachevre.*
We warmly invite you and your family to visit Lady Barn so that you can meet our Head, Mark Turner, and see the School in action.
Our Early Years department welcomes children from the September after their third birthday. Most children stay with us until aged 11 when they move on to a wide range of independent day, state and grammar schools.
Our main points of entry are Nursery (age 3-4), Reception (age 4-5), Year 3 (age 7-8) and Year 5 (age 9-10). Occasionally places become available in other year groups.
Lady Barn is a vibrant community made up of some 480 day pupils. We are a family-orientated school with a strong sense of community and our parents are actively involved in many different aspects of school life. Our children tend to come from local towns and villages within a 30 minute radius of the school. The school opens at 07:45 in the morning and our wraparound care provision ends at 18:00.
Our new prospectus is available to view online via the link below:
