Optional extra tuition/activities
A range of peripatetic teachers offer optional lessons in Ballet, Dance, Instrumental Tuition & Speech Training. These activities are charged separately and invoiced by visiting teachers themselves. Lessons are charged per term (30 lesson per year). Notice is required by the end of the half term holiday if you wish your child to cease attending such optional lessons.
Second sibling – 5%
Third and subsequent siblings – 15%
We accept childcare vouchers for Nursery fees, after-school care fees and some residential trips. For more information please contact the school finance office (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Free Childcare Allowance for 3 and 4 year-olds
All children aged three and four are eligible for 15 hours per week of free term-time early education, available from the term following a child’s third birthday, up to and including the term they reach compulsory school age. This means that when your child joins Lady Barn, the school will claim the funded hours on your behalf and your school fees will be reduced accordingly.
The school does not currently offer the extended entitlement of 30 hours.
Payment of Fees
Tuition fees are payable in advance, but may be paid by standing order.
Parents who wish to pay in installments will be required to make payments on either the 1st or the 15th of each month for ten months, from September to June (directly from their bank account to the school’s bank account). There is no administration fee for installment payment, but the School may withdraw the facility to pay by monthly standing order if standing orders/direct debits are stopped or if regular payments are not made.
In light of recent advice under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 and the Terrorism Act 2000, Money Laundering Regulations, the School reserves the right to decline cash payments for school fees.
Withdrawal from school
A full term’s notice in writing is required if you wish to withdraw your child from the school or cancel a place that has been offered. Please refer to the terms and conditions set out in the Parent Contract for further information.
The school operates a scheme, through an insurance company, for the remission of school fees when illness or accident causes a pupil to be absent. This involves the payment of a small premium. No remission of funds is available to those who choose not to participate in the scheme. Please contact the Finance Office (email@example.com) for further information.
