🎨✨ Some fun for your children this half term!
It might feel a little early to mention Christmas… but preparations are already underway for our Lady Barn Christmas Fair on Saturday 6 December, 9.00–11.30am! 🎄❄️
We’d love our pupils to help us spread the festive cheer by designing this year’s Christmas Fair Poster! 🖍️🎅
Winning entries will be displayed around school and featured on our event materials.
How to enter:
🖌️ Create a festive design on A4 or A3 paper – think snowflakes, Santa, reindeer and sparkle!
📅 Include: Saturday 6 December 2025, 9.00–11.30am, Lady Barn Christmas Fair
🎨 Use any drawing materials (no stuck-on items, please!)
✏️ Write your child’s name and class on the back
Deadline: Hand in to the Form Teacher by Monday 10 November.
🏆 Prizes: One winner in each department – Early Years, Infants, Lower Juniors and Upper Juniors.
Let’s get creative and make this year’s Christmas Fair extra magical! 💙✨

Our Prep 2 artists have been exploring the warm colours of autumn through their vibrant oil pastel pumpkin drawings🎃Using blending, shading, and layering techniques, they discovered how to create rich textures and beautiful colour transitions. 🌈 Each pumpkin is full of personality and seasonal charm, a wonderful celebration of creativity and the changing seasons! 🍁✨

A fantastic day full of excitement for Prep 5! We walked the battlements of Warwick Castle and saw an incredible birds of prey show. Then we explored the Mayan civilisation in a tropical butterfly farm, where we made friends with a host of minibeasts and met Kenny the caiman! We have enjoyed dinner and a movie this evening and are ready for a good sleep!

Huge congratulations to former pupil @natashaoldburysoprano, performing as Cis in Albert Herring by Benjamin Britten — a milestone as ENO’s first production outside London, at The Lowry, Salford! 👏
Our early music lessons, led with so much inspiration by our talented music staff, give every child the chance to find their voice — whether that’s confidence in performance or simply joy in music. 🎵
