Autumn Term at Lady Barn 🍂 | Giving in action
Last term, our pupils, families and staff have shown what Giving at Lady Barn really means.
From delivering a record Harvest Festival collection to Urban Outreach Bolton, to raising funds through Macmillan, Children in Need and our Christmas Fair — generosity has been everywhere.
Highlights include:
✨ £4,600 raised at our Christmas Fair
✨ Care home visits building meaningful intergenerational connections
✨ Donations and singing visits supporting children in hospital
✨ Pupil-led charity initiatives and leadership across the school

Class RP were super excited for their Computing lesson with Mr Robson, especially when they discovered the Sphero indi cars were involved! 🤖✨
Using colour-sensing tiles and hands-on activities, the children enjoyed exploring early coding concepts, developing their problem-solving skills, and learning through play in a fun and engaging way. 🚗💡

It’s become a much-loved Lady Barn tradition for staff to take part in an annual darts competition! This year’s final saw Mr Collinson go head-to-head with Mrs Baron — and for the second year running, Mr C took the title and lifted the trophy 🏆
