Will nappies, wipes, etc. be provided as part of the cost?
No, parents are asked to provide these for their children.
What are the meal options?
All meals and snacks are included within the session.
Will there be Halal food options?
Yes, there will. We will cater for all dietary requirements. Any complex needs will be discussed with the Catering Manager, Nursery Manager and School Nurse.
What will the sleeping arrangements be?
The sleeping area will have waterproof sleeping mats for the children and lightweight cellular blankets. The children will always be in sight and hearing of staff.
How will I know if my child has taken a nap?
We will communicate this through the ‘Tapestry Care Diary’.
How will you ensure safe eating arrangements for the children?
At mealtimes there will be a ratio of 1 member of staff for every 4 children.
There will always be a member of staff in the room with a valid pediatric first aid certificate. Special dietary requirements, preferences, food allergies and intolerances will be catered for. We will follow the guidance on food safety for young children. Children will always be in sight and hearing of staff, with staff actively supervising and supporting mealtimes.
How will I know what my child has eaten?
We will communicate this through the ‘Tapestry Care Diary’.
