In Prep 6 this term, we have consolidated a huge bank of subject knowledge and have developed much confidence with examination processes, ready for the entrance exams that many of us will be sitting in January. This week, we have begun another important element of our preparation for senior school applications - interview technique!

We have been learning about smart presentation, confident and comfortable body language, and making a great first impression. We also discussed how to respond to questions thoughtfully, how to remain composed under the pressure of unexpected questions, and how to remain honest and truthful but with a positive spin, letting our personalities shine through!

The children have begun interviewing each other in pairs, practising all their new skills and finding out some of the most common interview questions. We had a lot of fun, and all agreed that these are great life skills for everybody to learn!
