Prep 5 have been investigating surface area in Maths.  We have looked at the net of a cuboid, calculated the area of each face and totalled our findings.  After some practical investigation to create a cover for a box of playing cards, we established a method for calculating the surface area of any cuboid.  We produced some fabulous work to explain what we did. I wonder how they will calculate the surface area of a Toblerone box, next week?!
