Meet Our New SENDCo
Back
My name is Mrs Hoggins-White, and it is my pleasure to introduce myself to you all as the new SENDCo here at Lady Barn House School. I’m delighted to be a part of your vibrant school community, and I have been made very welcome since joining LBHS only a few weeks ago.
I am no stranger to Lady Barn; after I graduated from Cambridge University in 2002, I worked here as a newly qualified teacher when Mrs Yule was the Headteacher. I was the curriculum lead for Religious Studies and PSHE until 2007 when I went to work at Repton School, Dubai where I was Head of Infants. I returned to the UK two years later as Deputy Head of Prep at Hulme Grammar School in Oldham, before a promotion to Headteacher of Nursery and Infants at the same school. For the last few years, I have held the position as SENCo at Hulme Grammar, overseeing the Nursey to Year 6 provision and I completed the National Professional Qualification for SENCos earlier this year.
I am very excited to be working alongside families, colleagues and outside agencies to champion the needs of our children with learning differences and Special Educational Needs. It will be a privilege to support your children along their journey with us and to play a part in their educational story.
My email is sendco@ladybarnhouse.org and parents are warmly invited to get in touch with me. I believe that you know your child best and your insights are incredibly valuable to me. I look forward to collaborating with many of you over the weeks, months and years.

Looking to the Future
As we look ahead, our aim remains simple: to ensure every child feels understood, supported, included and able to thrive both academically and personally. We are excited about the next chapter for SEND provision at Lady Barn House School and look forward to sharing future developments with our school community.
