Prep 2 have made an excellent start to their Woodland Science lessons and begun to engage with the outdoor space in an increasingly purposeful and observant manner. The children have investigated key words associated with different materials and built animal houses using their knowledge about what makes a good home.

In Lower Juniors, Prep 3 have made an exciting start to more challenging scientific experiments and Prep 4 engaged in some hands-on work modelling the digestive system! Prep 5 are practising their collaborative skills as part of an enterprise project to design and pitch an insulated cup. For Prep 6, the Autumn Term marks the time of year to perform a heart dissection. An excellent preparation for scientific studies beyond Lady Barn, we have great fun examining the different structures and discovering how these are linked to function.
