The children have been busy in Nursery this week learning about the different animals we might see hiding in the woods, in Autumn.  We found out lots of fun facts about hedgehogs, and now know that baby hedgehogs are called ‘hoglets’!

We talked about what hedgehogs look like, what they might eat and where they might live. The children all had a go at drawing their own hedgehogs and then the catering team brought over some flour salt, water, and yeast, for us to make our own hedgehog bread. We used raisins for their eyes and nose and used scissors to snip the dough, to make spikes.  They all looked fantastic, frsh out of the oven! Well done, Nursery.
