The Nursery children were all super excited to go on their first school trip this week. We were on a special mission to post our hand-made Valentine's cards to our families. The children loved travelling on the school minibuses and were keen to let us know if we were going the same way as they did, to and from school.

When we got to the post office, the children queued up patiently and used their big voices politely to ask for a stamp to put on their letters. With help from the big step, we then made sure all the letters were safely posted into the big red post box.

Postman Tom then came out of his office to empty the post box.  He carefully put all our letters into his post bag, being very careful not to lose any. He then told us how the letters would be taken to the sorting office in Manchester and delivered in the next 3 days, just in time for Valentine's Day! What a wonderful morning we had.
