Our Limelighters drama groups took to the studio theatre stage before the holiday for an evening of magical storytelling. The Prep 3 and 4 group performed Tin Soldier in which a lyrical adaptation of the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale was brought to life. The story of the steadfast tin soldier’s love for the paper ballerina and of his perilous journey towards her was told with confidence and flair by our group of young actors. Following this, the Prep 5 and 6 group performed an abbreviated version of Shakespeare’s The Tempest.

The story of Prospero, the overthrown Duke of Milan’s magical revenge upon his betrayers, was told with energy and rich characterizations by this talented group. Well done to all!
