This half term, Prep 4 have been focusing on the core values of Teamwork and Community across the curriculum, both within the classroom and across the year group. On Fridays, children have enjoyed active maths sessions across the two classes, completing escape-room mixed-problem puzzles or playing board games, such as battleships, to learn co-ordinates! In PSHEE we have focused on friendship building and the importance of community, getting to know each other better with one-minute quick, rotating partner discussions to improve our listening and communicating skills. In humanities, Prep 4 have worked in teams of four to create collages of the water cycle, while in Games, children have taken part in House football and netball competitions.
