A very excited group of Prep 3 children recently set off on their residential trip to Robinwood Activity Centre, ready for an unforgettable adventure. For some children, this was their very first residential trip and their first night away from home, making the experience even more special. Although heavy rain had been forecast, the rain held off, most of the time and the clouds and cold didn’t dampen spirits or enthusiasm!

The children threw themselves into every activity with incredible resilience, determination and excitement. From climbing and zip lines to team challenges and the famous Piranha pool, every child showed courage and willingness to try something new. Some found themselves stepping outside of their comfort zone, whether facing a fear of heights or daring to cross the slippery obstacles of the Piranha Pool, but they conquered their fears with confidence and encouragement from their friends.

This trip was about far more than adventurous activities. It provided a wonderful opportunity for the children to spend time with their friends, build new friendships and learn the importance of teamwork and support. The sheer enjoyment of the experience was evident in the smiles on their faces and the constant laughter filling the air throughout the trip. We hope the children will fondly remember their first visit to Robinwood for many years to come.
