From day one, my class, Prep 4W, (and all the staff, children, and parents) have made me feel very welcome.

We have settled into our new class with ease, getting to know our classmates, teachers, and all the new routines. We've been working hard too!

In our Humanities lessons, we have been learning about the Ancient Greek civilisation. We discovered they founded the first democracy! Their legacy lives on here at our school, in our school council elections.

In Prep 4W, almost everybody put themselves forward for the different roles available. The candidates prepared speeches, and we voted anonymously for our chosen representative.

The winners were:
- CHARITY COUNCILLOR: Ava M
- ECO COUNCILLOR: Benedict R
- FOOD COUNCILLOR: Dylan J
- SCHOOL COUNCILLOR: Anayah I

Congratulations to our successful class members! Well done, everyone, for your excellent participation.

In English, we have been learning about parts of speech with MC GRAMMAR and his lyrical raps about nouns, verbs, adverbs, and adjectives.

We've enjoyed reading about 'The Girl Who Stole An Elephant' in our class novel, based on an exciting adventure in Sri Lanka.

Most recently, we made videos of our poetry performances to celebrate NATIONAL POETRY DAY and even had some poets drop by from Prep 5 and 6 to perform for us.
