Once upon a time there were three Prep 1 classes and they stepped into the enchanting world of fairy tales. From opulent carriages to sumptuous gowns, twisted woodlands to mystical mirrors, our scheme of work this term at Lady Barn explores centuries of beloved folk stories through movement and voice. So far, the children have acted out scenes from fairy tales such as: Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs. Most children know the stories already and those that don’t could be helped along the path with some bedtime reading of these wonderful age-old stories. And they all lived happily ever after…
