A rollercoaster of a cup fixture took place between Lady Barn and Broadstone Hall School. We took the lead twice and were winning the tie with one minute to go, when the opposition equalised. Extra time ensued and a last-second scramble where we hit the cross bar was the closest we came to winning. Unfortunately we went down 2-1 in a penalty shoot out, with a fantastic save made by Broadstone's goalkeeper. Despite not proceeding through to the next round, the children were involved in a unique cup tie, which will give them valuable experience in the future. Well played, boys!
