Our first ever competitive boys' hockey fixture took place against Manchester Grammar School. Our whole year group fixture allowed every pupil to play their part in a fun and exciting afternoon of hockey. We selected four mixed teams and the pupils played against two different sides on the day. We had a very successful afternoon, scoring plenty of goals and gaining lots of experience in a game situation. It was pleasing to see the pupils organise themselves and play as a team unit. The pupils demonstrated good levels of skill and game management, and collectively scored 22 goals! It was a fantastic afternoon and one which we will fondly look back on. Well played, everyone!
