Every year our Prep 2 children take part in the Reading Competition to compete for the Reading Shield. All children take part and the final round, involving the six that have been chosen from the whole year group, takes place before an audience consisting of the whole Infant Department. Our judges this year were Mrs Thomas and Ms Higson. 

The children performed their two reading passages brilliantly. They brought drama and excitement to their delivery, which made choosing a winner and runner-up a difficult task! Poppy (2LF) was declared the worthy winner and the runner-up place was awarded to Sophie (2L).
