The LBHS Cross Country team had a fantastic showing in the first match of the Stockport Schools' Cross Country League, with 28 eager runners representing the School. Each pupil displayed great determination and endurance!

The course, known for its challenging terrain, did not deter our young athletes. They navigated the dreaded final hill and some wet, long grass with resilience and teamwork, spurred on by supportive cheers from parents and staff. From start to finish, the LBHS team exemplified sportsmanship!

It was a brilliant performance by all, and we are thrilled with the effort and team spirit shown. LBHS is now looking forward to the next race on Saturday 5 October. Congratulations to all the runners for a great start to the season!
