Our Prep 6 netball team have delivered outstanding performances this season, proudly securing victory at both the ISA North Netball Tournament and the ISA National Netball Finals. Their success is a testament to their hard work, determination, and exceptional teamwork throughout the competition and training sessions this year.

At the ISA North Tournament, the team set the tone early with confident, composed play. Strong defensive pressure across the court from Claudia, Holly and Anaayah limited the opposing school's scoring opportunities. Quick transitions from Sia, Isabella and Alexa and accurate passing allowed the team to dominate possession. The shooters Charlotte and Ava showed impressive consistency under pressure, converting chances efficiently. They beat Bowdon, King's Macclesfield and The Grange in the cup competition, to claim the title in convincing fashion.

Building on this momentum, the team advanced to the ISA National Finals with great confidence. Facing the strongest school teams from across the country, they rose to the occasion with remarkable maturity and resilience. Each match showcased their ability to adapt tactically, maintain focus, and support one another on court, despite a finger injury and the bright and windy playing conditions.  The final match was a fitting conclusion to their campaign as the girls beat The Grange, 10-2. Their teamwork and clinical play ultimately secured the national title.

This double achievement is a fantastic accomplishment for the Prep 6 squad. Every player contributed to the team’s success, demonstrating excellent sportsmanship and a positive attitude throughout. They should be extremely proud of their efforts, having represented the school with distinction at both regional and national level. This is the first time for many years that Lady Barn has achieved this success, and we are so proud of the girls.

Well done to all players on an exceptional season.
