Miss N Jennings - Head of Lower School

As Head of Lower School, Miss Jennings leads the Lower School community, ensuring every child experiences a happy, nurturing and inspiring environment in which they can thrive. She is passionate about early education and believes the foundations laid in a child’s earliest years are key to developing confident, curious and resilient learners with a lifelong love of learning.

Miss Jennings has worked with young children for the past 36 years, teaching in schools across the south of England and within the local area. She joined Lady Barn House School in 2001 as a Teaching Assistant before becoming a Reception and then a Pre-School Teacher. She now leads the Lower School, bringing a wealth of experience, warmth and enthusiasm to her role.

For Miss Jennings, the greatest reward is watching children grow into happy, confident and independent learners. She loves seeing their imagination flourish as they discover new skills and ideas each day. Above all, she believes that learning should be filled with joy, curiosity and a sense of fun, making every day both rewarding and full of laughter.

Outside school, Miss Jennings enjoys travelling the world, always planning her next adventure, from trekking the Inca Trail to cage diving with Great Whites in South Africa.
